Elizabeth Hedin-Schmidt Born in New Jersey into a musical family, I followed my passion for drama and music into Simpson College where I majored in Music Performance and then into Graduate School where I achieved my Masters in Music Performance with a focus in opera. While in school I performed in many operas including the leads as Abigail Williams in Robert Ward's The Crucible and Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus. I have recently been shifting my focus into my true passion of film acting, and am having a blast performing in various musical theater roles around the Twin Cities.

Armed with classical voice training I take my work ethic and passion for performance to the medium of film and musical theater. I am always looking to expand my craft, I sing in chamber choirs, contemporary worship teams, solo classical performances, and community theater, but look to build my career firmly in film.

Since I have started in film in June of 2014 I have been in 6 different projects including a short film entitled 21 Days where I played the lead, Natalie, and a supporting role in a short series called The Anniversary where I play the outrageous sister, Gina. I have been in musical theater productions this last year, one of which was St. Marks Drama ministries Children of Eden where I played Mama Noah.
