John Noltner John Noltner has worked as a freelance photographer for 25 years, producing work for national magazines, Fortune 500 companies, and nonprofit organizations. He has photographed in 38 countries and his work has appeared in National Geographic Traveler, Smithsonian, Health, Forbes, BusinessWeek, Midwest Living, and many other publications. In 2009, John began asking people the simple question, "What does peace mean to you?" for his project A PEACE OF MY MIND, in an effort to rediscover the common humanity that connects us.

John Noltner has driven 40,000 miles across the country asking people, "What does peace mean to you?" In a world that asks us to focus on the things that can separate us, A PEACE OF MY MIND asks us to rediscover the common humanity that connects us. Through traveling exhibits, lectures and workshops, and on-site story gathering, A PEACE OF MY MIND helps foster dialogue about our core values and faith.
