Lisa M Clark Lisa writes and edits for Concordia Publishing House. A 2004 graduate of Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, she holds a Lutheran Teacher Diploma and has experience in secondary education. She also has an MA degree in English: Writing Studies from University of Missouri--St. Louis.

Lisa loves to write for a variety of genres: devotionals, books for children, hymn texts, fiction, and the like.

About a third of her 250+ hymn texts have been or will be published through Concordia Publishing House, many through Creative Worship for the Lutheran Parish. Choral arrangements using her texts include Brought to the Water by Jonathan Kohrs, As Stone on Living Stone Is Set by Kevin Hildebrand, Why Do You Peer into the Skies? by Jacob Weber, and several by Mark Knickelbein, including The Son of God Has Conquered Night, The Blood of Jesus, and When the Darkness Claims the Moon.
